‘Create a sense of space through Graphic Design’
Free Range is a project by Interior Educators, an annual event showcasing creative art and design work by thousands of emerging graduates. Each year the show takes on a name and logo that reflects interior architecture and inspires graduate, current and future students.
I designed a concept (‘Play’) that employs isometric projection and perspective, taking inspiration from architectural drawings as well as an interactive screen animation by Will Hurt entitled ‘Abstract Playground’.
‘Play’ explores the interactive experience and creative potential of architectural spaces. Using a cube as a foundation, I developed familiar and unfamiliar building components such as a staircase or a roof. Colour additionally played an important part, working with a primary palette to reflect construction groundwork.
